We research every aspect of service to make sure our clients
get the best prices on everything from insurance to fuel,
and the bulk purchasing power of our corporate office allows
us to secure discounts on all building services and supplies.
Board members are able to view building accounts and banking
information online any time, and can opt to have their
maintenance fees paid electronically every month. In addition,
our WentworthConnect™ program is an internet-based
communication system that provides each resident with full
access to all aspects of their property’s management,
from capital improvement projects to building code violations.
Wentworth’s newest communication service, which will
be unveiled in the next twelve months, is a fully-staffed
Call Center which will be manned eight to twelve hours
a day to help answer client questions and provide additional
customer service.
Employee Mentoring
Wentworth believes in employee empowerment and involvement.
In order to promote these qualities within our firm,
we have on-going training and mentoring programs designed
to educate our staff to get to the next level. We hold
regular executive team meetings as well as employee
leadership seminars and team building activities designed
to build trust, camaraderie and competence among our
staff members, executives and officers. We strive to
hire from within, rewarding dedicated employees with
promotions and continued challenges and training on
the job. The result is long-term employees who are
satisfied and devoted to their jobs at all levels of
the company.
Training Facilities
Wentworth has developed a state-of-the-art
training facility right here in New York where managers,
superintendents and building staff receive hands-on training
in concierge duties, boiler repair, plumbing, elevators,
roofing, air conditioning and much more. Utilizing 17
interactive workstations, along with audio and visual
teaching tools, employees can work on actual parts of
boilers, showers, elevators and roofing materials to
learn the most effective and efficient methods of repair,
cleaning and maintenance. In addition, they receive training
on environmental issues, city regulations, and how to
comply with local laws and safety requirements. This
one-of-a-kind facility is the most sophisticated hands-on
training center in the industry.
Board Relations
We have close ties to our board member clients,
and know nearly all of them personally. We pride ourselves
in being that kind of company. Wentworth puts every budget
item out to bid en masse so we can negotiate the most
competitive insurance rates, oil and gas prices, and
building supplies. Once we’ve gotten the best rates
possible, we create individualized plans and policies
for each of our client properties. We maintain close
communications with our clients, and pride ourselves
in being available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Even on the weekend, our clients can send us an email
and expect to hear a response before Monday morning.
Capital Improvements
Our
construction division, Worthmore Construction & Maintenance,
is a full service general contractor and construction management
firm with 28 full-time employees. Whether your building is
replacing the boiler, redecorating the lobby or repairing
the elevator, Worthmore can help speed your project along
while avoiding disruption of services and minimizing the
inconvenience to your property’s residents. Worthmore
can provide planning, oversee the bidding process, provide
contracting services, and put a Project Manager in charge
of the project.
